Digital printing of textiles represents a paradigm shift in technology
that will create a billion-dollar industry overnight.
'Going digital’ will revolutionize yet another industry and Color
Textiles
Inc is a significant player in that paradigm shift from ‘analog to

chain. The mass customization of specialty products such as ties, scarves,

Digital printing
of textiles requires that the textile be pretreated with special chemistry
so that the inks will be accepted. Normal Piezo, and Thermal Ink Jet –
Canon, HP, ColorSpan ENCAD, LexMark printers use dye-based inks. These
inks with any other coated fabric on the market requires ‘steaming’
and other post treatments to fix the dyes. Without fixation the fabric
cannot be washed.
Color
Textile’s chemical formulation for pretreatment of textiles eliminates
the steaming process! "'No-Steam' will take digital textile production
to a new level." The chemistry has other
applications as a re treatment for fine art printing papers and canvas
for banners, art and wallpaper! Color Textiles Inc. believes that the
textile/apparel, home furnishing, and soft signage markets all represent
tremendous short-term opportunities.
